Helga-Zepp-LaRouche and BüSo Admitted To Run for German Federal Elections

Today, the Bürgerrechtsbewegung Solidarität (BüSo) candidate slate in Berlin for the German Federal elections on Feb. 23, 2025, headed by Federal Chairwoman Helga Zepp-LaRouche, as well as the four direct candidates, was approved at the meetings of the state election committee and the district election committees. The direct candidates (who run also on the slate) are: in Pankow, WK 75, Stephan Ossenkopp;, in Tempelhof-Schöneberg, WK 80, Klaus Fimmen; in Treptow-Köpenick, WK 83, Helga Zepp-LaRouche; and in Lichtenberg, WK 85, Jonathan Thron. Berlin BüSo State Chairman Dr. Wolfgang Lillge, Ulrike Lillge, and Fabian Koch are also running on the state slate.

Due to the extremely short preparation time, during which 2,000 valid signatures had to be collected for each state list, and 200 for each direct candidate, the BüSo decided to concentrate its efforts on the nomination of candidates in the Federal capital of Berlin.

The BüSo is asking all members, supporters and sympathizers throughout Germany for their help in the crucial election campaign in Berlin—and for their activities at home. Germany needs a change of course—from the Baltic Sea and the North Sea to the Alps! A BüSo webpage has made everything available for voters and others about its program and the Berlin candidates.

Below is the translated text of the election TV clip, addressed by BüSo Chairwoman and lead candidate Helga Zepp-LaRouche. It will be broadcast, among other regional state TV and radio stations, twice by the main channels ARD and ZDF (starting with ZDF, Jan. 27, at 22:15; Jan. 31, at 17:57 on Deutschlandfunk Kultur (radio) and ARD on Feb. 6, at 14:08):
