According to NBC News the Senate advanced Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel for FBI director in a 48-45 party-line vote on Feb. 18. “The vote allows Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-SD, to tee up a confirmation vote for Patel later this week,” they reported.
