Putin, Xi Jinping To Attend Each Other's Celebrations of the End of World War II

Chinese President Xi Jinping has accepted President Vladimir Putin’s invitation to attend the May 9 commemoration in Moscow of the end of World War II—the Great Patriotic War in Russia—and the victory over Nazi Germany. According to Russia’s Ambassador to China Igor Murgalov, Putin has also accepted Xi’s invitation to attend the Sept. 3 celebration in Beijing also on the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, TASS reported.
