March 20, 2025 (EIRNS)—As if to confirm that Europe intends to use any truce in order to rearm Ukraine, the U.K. government has rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin’s demand that Western countries stop arming the Kiev regime, as a condition for a ceasefire. “We will always continue to support Ukraine militarily,” Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s spokesman Dave Pares told reporters in London on March 19, reported Bloomberg. That applies “in all scenarios,” he said, when asked if the U.K. could agree to Russia’s insistence on a halt to deliveries of military aid.
