The Russian Defense Ministry reported this morning that Russian air defenses repelled a large-scale Ukrainian drone and missile attack, including missiles provided by the U.K.
Russia reports that it shot down 170 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 96 over Crimea and 47 over Krasnodar. “The on-duty air defense units destroyed eight Storm Shadow air-based cruise missiles and three Ukrainian Neptune-MD guided missiles over the Black Sea waters,” it said. “From 02:00 to 05:00, units of the Black Sea Fleet neutralized 14 Ukrainian uncrewed surface vehicles in the Black Sea waters.” The Defense Ministry later updated the number of surface drones to 23 destroyed.
