Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf branded Israel’s strikes an “aggression,” urging the need for the UN Security Council to intervene, in a call with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, RT has reported. Algeria’s Foreign Ministry earlier released a statement accusing Israel of pursuing “a policy based on the illusion of ensuring its own security and stability at the expense of that of its neighbors,” starting with the Palestinians and extending to surrounding countries “without exception.”
