The Kiev regime launched a series of attacks against the Kerch Strait bridge linking Crimea to the rest of Russia today but, according to Russian accounts, with little effect beyond temporary closures of the bridge for security sweeps.

As summarized by South Front, there were three attempted attacks. The first was in the morning when a drone exploded against a barrier protecting the pillars of the bridge. Accounts on Russian Telegram channels say it may have been an underwater drone that evaded Russian defenses. The explosion only caused superficial damage to the fencing on the bridge deck. A second drone in the afternoon struck a defensive barge positioned as part of the bridge’s security system, exploding harmlessly without affecting the main structure. A third surface drone was destroyed some distance from the bridge using a Lancet that was loitering, as shown in a video accompanying the report.
