Medvedev Tells Ukraine, Face Reality at the Table, or in the Field

The Ukrainian leadership will face new realities on the ground, if it refuses to recognize war realities at a negotiating table, Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on June 8, commenting on the Russian army’s advance in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, reported TASS this morning. “Those who do not want to recognize the war realities at the negotiations, will get new realities on the ground. Our Armed Forces have begun an offensive in the Dnepropetrovsk Region,” the top security official wrote on his Telegram channel.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported earlier today that its Battlegroup Center had reached the western border of the Donetsk People’s Republic and was developing an offensive on the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk Region.
