Final results of the New York City mayoral Democratic primary election will come in later, but polls are suggesting that the top two contenders for the nomination out of nine Democratic primary candidates are former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and State Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani. If the New York Times were an honest publication, they would admit that the mayoral election is a referendum on the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians. Mamdani drew the ire of the AIPAC crowd in the New York State Assembly when he championed legislation to block funding to groups that support Israeli settlers. In one of the debates, when the candidates were asked to which country they would travel first after winning election, most said Israel (one said Israel, followed by Ukraine). Mamdani said, “I wouldn’t travel anywhere, I’m going to take care of New Yorkers.” It’s definitely worth watching the video.
