If the Sea Has No Bottom, Build an Ark

On Monday, Schiller Institute Founder and Executive Editor of EIR News Service Helga Zepp-LaRouche assembled a remarkable roundtable event entitled, “Epstein and the Bottomless Depravity of the ‘Elites.’” Zepp-LaRouche opened by starkly reporting, “It is more likely than not that World War III has already begun.”
Several speakers brought up the recent Epstein revelations as indicative of the depraved mindset of the initiators of the Iran war, both in terms of the sadistic duplicity of launching strikes while pretending to make progress in negotiations, as well as launching strikes on an elementary school, which killed more than 150 girls from the ages of 7 to 12.
In a morning press availability with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, U.S. President Donald Trump bragged that the United States, with the greatest military in the world, has already “eliminated” the Iranian Air Force and Navy, as well as their radar systems, diminishing their ability to detect incoming strikes. One might ask, if all of that is true, why don’t we declare victory and stop bombing?
Despite these great victories, the U.S. State Department has issued a notice to Americans in 14 Southwest Asian nations to evacuate, but as a journalist revealed at the Merz-Trump event, there was no plan for this, so thousands of Americans are now stranded, trying to flee the region.
What is playing out on the stage of world history is that an old imperial system is dying, and a new system, based on the universal principle of the equality of man, is coming into being.
The British imperial Epstein-class elites were caught both literally and figuratively with their pants down, as the ideas long espoused by associates of former Presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche and his wife caught on in China, starting with the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013 but sweeping the globe through the BRICS, the SCO, the BRICS bank, and BRICS-Plus expansion, including, notably, the large, ancient Silk Road nation of Iran.
Today, the majority of the human race has rejected the old British system based on a witches’ brew of eugenics and “might makes right,” and the minority class of billionaires is not going to be able to stuff everyone back into the bottle of servitude. Therefore, they are working feverishly to unleash war and economic suppression throughout the Global South.
On the pragmatic side, some are recognizing, as the online publication “RailFreight.com” has reported, that Iran was becoming an important hub of China-Iran-Europe rail transport, with a new freight transport record set in 2025, which the publication admits now won’t be repeated in 2026.
In case disrupting transportation corridors and keeping millions of people in poverty might not be compelling enough for some, particularly in the United States, then unleash a religious revival, run by the heirs of the original 1700s anti-American “Great Awakening,.” This “revival” has now been launched through Pete Hegseth’s “Department of War,” which is holding regular Bible study groups and monthly “prayer meetings” in the Pentagon, where preachers such as Douglas Wilson literally say that they are carrying on the work of George Whitfield.
In the 48 hours surrounding the strikes on Iran, the non-profit Military Religious Freedom Foundation received 100 complaints from 40 different military units, reporting that soldiers were being told that the Iran war is “part of God’s divine plan,” and that President Trump has been “anointed by Jesus” to fulfill it. It should be noted that a movement called “The Great Awakening,” which held rallies across the country (but particularly in upstate New York), was part of the wave that swept Trump into office in 2024.
In such a situation, surrounded by depravity on all sides, the wisest thing to do, as VIPS co-founder Ray McGovern has often recommended, is to build an ark.
We don’t have to wait until our friends and neighbors realize they have already drowned, sinking into a bottomless pit of sludge, and we don’t need to waste breath trying to argue them out of a religious cult belief. Better to inspire them with a vision of what the future could bring for their children and grandchildren if we abandon the imperial geopolitical approach and move toward the “New Paradigm” which Helga Zepp-LaRouche has outlined with her Ten Principles, and which Presidents Putin and Xi have been consciously working to create since their February 4, 2022 Joint Statement.
This new paradigm is absolutely in harmony with the American Declaration of Independence as it was written and intended 250 years ago. The campaigns of LaRouche associates Jose Vega for Congress in the Bronx and Diane Sare for President of the United States can remind the American people of this happy legacy and lift them out of the floods, which will otherwise sweep them away.
