Russia and Belarus are intent on taking a proposal they have been working on over the last couple of years, the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the XXI Century, to the upcoming UN General Assembly session in September. The Charter will be an attempt to consolidate the notion of “indivisible security” which has been at the heart of the present conflict in Ukraine.
The Charter was first proposed at the International Conference on Eurasian Security in Minsk, Belarus in November 2023, and was discussed and debated at the following two international security conferences also held in Minsk, Belarus to deal with the security situation in Eurasia.
