Interfax reported yesterday that Roscosmos Deputy CEO for Manned Space Programs Sergei Krikalev has discussed prospects for cooperation with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan. The meeting occurred in the context of a meeting of the heads of space agencies of the BRICS countries in Bangalore on June 23-24.
“The parties will discuss ongoing cooperation between Russia and India, which holds the 2026 BRICS presidency, in space exploration, as well as promising projects of mutual interest,” Roscosmos said in a press statement. No further details have been disclosed so far.
