President Trump declared yesterday that he had ended the war with Iran. “Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved, I have, as President of the United States of America, cancelled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening,” he said on Truth Social. “Discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until this Transaction is finalized—Time and place of the signing to be announced shortly.”

Trump told a rally for Georgia gubernatorial candidate Burt Jones that the war is now over. “I don’t know if you heard, but we ended the war with Iran today,” he reportedly said. “They have agreed never to have a nuclear weapon, something that we insisted on; that was the whole purpose. That was 95 percent of it.”

Israeli journalist Barak Ravid claimed in Axios overnight that preparations are underway for a possible signing ceremony in Geneva in the coming days to be signed for the US by JD Vance. Four C-17 cargo planes reportedly left Joint Base Andrews for Europe yesterday carrying equipment for Vance’s travel.
