Good News for NATO: German Defense Expenditures a Third More in 2027

The draft defense budget of Germany for 2027 will add 30 billion euros from the extra-budget facility to the 109 billion regular budget for defense purposes, including 11 billion in military support for Ukraine. The Bundestag has to approve the budget; Defense Minister Boris Pistorius expects no obstacles.
