More U.S. Intel Reports Back Euro Fake Claims of Possible Russian Attacks

With the June 2026 “retirement” of Tulsi Gabbard as DNI, new intelligence reports are now floating around that moot the “possibility” of a Russian attack on some European country – in spite of the vociferous denials by the Russian leadership that they are planning anything of the sort. They have even offered to sign a treaty to that effect. The Wall Street Journal had a front-page article on August 6 reporting on the new intelligence reports, under the headline “U.S. Intel Finds Putin Could Test NATO’s Resolve with Limited Incursion.”

According to the WSJ the previous US assessments indicated that Putin would not attack any other country while the war in Ukraine was still unfolding. “But that assessment changed this year,” the article reports, “as Putin is increasingly squeezed in Ukraine and under pressure at home to secure a victory… Kyiv’s drones are inflicting growing damage on Russia’s army and oil industry,” it claims, “while Putin’s forces are making smaller gains at the front line amid casualties.” All of this reflects the bizarre “narrative” that Ukraine is winning the war.
