President Donald Trump wrote in a brief post on Truth Social on July 31, that the United States could face a full-scale invasion of illegal immigrants, like Spain just did with the Ceuta crisis, if Republicans don’t win the midterm elections and support his anti-migrant policies.
“What’s happening with Spain, with tens of thousands of Illegal Immigrants invading it, happened in the United States during the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration, and it will happen again, only worse, if the Dumocrats [sic] ever again gain power,” Trump wrote.
As for European leaders, “22 EU leaders gang up against Spain’s Sánchez over his migration policy,” Politico.eu reported, referring to Prime Minister Sánchez’s recent measures to open a pathway for undocumented migrants to regularize their situation. “We have a duty to effectively deter and relentlessly combat illegal migration,” the 22 EU leaders wrote Sánchez angrily, “by coordinating our action, strengthening our external borders and addressing all policies that can serve as pull factors, such as the regularization of [a) very large number of irregular migrants.”
