This would represent a significant escalation, and could possibly bring on further retaliation from Pakistan and Turkey, both of which are now militarily allied with Saudi Arabia. The spokesman also indicated that they were also targeting Abha Airport, Khamis Mushait Airbase, and sites in Najran and Jazan provinces in Saudi Arabia.
