While representatives of 97 nations around the world gathered in Beijing at the Global Governance Forum to deliberate on how to establish an international order in which all nations can develop in peace, King Charles’s government is preparing for war. British subjects were told on Oct. 22 to stockpile basic necessities for life, because war (and other calamities) will be coming soon. The scare campaign, called “Be Ready,” advised households to stockpile non-perishable food, bottles of water, blankets, radios, medicines, etc. Prepare to live for at least three days without access to a supermarket or an electronic payments system, Britons are being told.
Defense Minister Wes Streeting has carried the campaign forward. He published an op-ed in The Telegraph on Oct. 24 with the screaming headline: “Britain must be ready for war in 1,000 days.” He likewise took to the BBC airwaves to urge Britons to “prepare for supply chain disruption from cyber or climate emergencies.”
His message to the nation: prepare to suffer; one way or the other, the world is a hostile place.
