Pope Leo XIV followed today’s Angelus message with an impassioned call that it is time to “make room for diplomacy and dialogue.” His intervention came after citing the horrible killings and warfare in Sudan, Ukraine and Russia.
He first cited “the tragic situation in Sudan” and urged “the international community to support efforts aimed at bringing about an immediate ceasefire.” He prayed that “the hearts of those who sow violence” be changed.
