Iran has agreed to allow inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect two sites it had been blocking access to. The sites were not included among those named in the JCPOA, but were declared by israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be secret nuclear sites. Iran refused to be coerced by Israel’s intelligence reports, but apparently has agreed now in order to facilitate the fight in the UN Security Council
Tehran has not officially confirmed the agreement as cited by Britain’s Daily Telegraph, but did confirm that IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi will be visiting Iran this coming week. “We hope this visit will lead to reinforced mutual cooperation,” Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency Kazem Gharibabadi said, reported Reuters.
