Donald Trump associate and adviser Roger Stone stated yesterday that “I would be shocked if they did not come forward with a fabricated indictment for bank fraud or tax fraud against the former President [Donald Trump] by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr.,” according to an account in Salon. Stone called the expected indictment “a partisan witch hunt,” in which the DA is putting Trump’s business records over 40 years under a microscope, “combing for a crime, they have no evidence of a crime, they have no probable cause.” Stone declared: “It is disgraceful, but I do think it is going to happen.”
