Ukraine Energy Minister Says Winter Will Be Very Difficult

Energy Minister German Galushchenko warned yesterday that Ukrainians “need to prepare for a difficult winter. Unfortunately, it will really be more difficult than the previous one. Nevertheless, we must try to establish autonomous energy supply systems … for our part, we will do everything to make sure that that is not needed,” reported RT. It was not immediately clear what constituted “autonomous” systems, but Galushchenko made them sound rather ominous.
