Jan. 26—For most of the first year of his second term as U.S. President, Donald Trump spoke of his commitment to end the “endless war” policy of his predecessors. He pledged to end the NATO proxy war of Ukraine against Russia in one day, promising that, unlike Presidents Clinton, G.W. Bush, Obama, and Biden, he would not waste taxpayers’ dollars and American lives in wars in which no American interests were served. He said he would root out the neocons and war hawks in the “Deep State” who are addicted to war and embedded in the defense, security, and intelligence establishment, and instead would put “America first.”[1]
Polls showed that citizens tired of endless wars voted for him because of those pledges. Indeed, once elected, he moved to normalize relations with Russia, talked with China’s President Xi Jinping, and pressured the Zionist war criminal and Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to accept an imperfect ceasefire in Gaza.
Yet, in spite of these promises, Trump’s second administration now seems to have abandoned them and has instead doubled down on the same neocon commitment to hegemonic control over the world, even if in slightly different window dressing. The wars in Ukraine and Southwest Asia continue, U.S. troop deployments continue to occupy global hot spots, including naval flotillas in the Pacific, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Caribbean, and he has even announced a plan for a $500 billion increase in defense spending, bringing the annual defense budget to a staggering $1.5 trillion!
This includes the kidnapping of Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro, the threat of new strikes against Iran, and an escalated demand that Denmark release its claim to Greenland and sell it to the United States. Trump even claims that U.S. control over Greenland’s raw materials and its strategic position off the Arctic Sea are necessary in order to defend against Russia and China. Underscoring this outlook, Trump told the New York Times during an interview in January, “I don’t need international law,” adding that the only constraint on his power is “my own morality, my own mind.”
But it appears that that constraint has been overridden. The series of reports below is an initial investigation into the war hawks in the City of London and Wall St. corporate cartels, and their lackeys who remain in place within Trump’s inner circle and administration. We look at who has been exerting a persistent pressure on the Trump administration, steering it away from any deviation from the continued global domination by European colonial powers, even though their system has ended.
The Arrogant Lunacy of the Establishment
Helga Zepp-LaRouche, founder of the Schiller Institute, has been at the forefront of the fight to prevent the outbreak of world war which accompanies each of these provocations. She insists on the replacement of the collapsing imperial system with a new paradigm, founded upon a new security and development architecture based on a return to the principles of the Peace of Westphalia. At the center of those principles is the right of governments to full sovereignty, to be free to act in the interests of their citizens, and free from the interference of other nations and private interests.
She elaborated on this in a document, featuring Ten Principles underlying the new architecture for relations among sovereign nations. Released on November 22, 2022, it has been widely circulated, and featured in the organizing initiated by the International Peace Coalition she convened. It incorporates the conjunctural perspective defined by her late husband, the American statesman and economist Lyndon LaRouche, which identifies the imperial tradition of the City of London and its doctrine of geopolitics as the cause of wars and economic crises over the last five centuries. Zepp-LaRouche organized an Emergency Round Table discussion on January 12 under the auspices of Executive Intelligence Review, to open an in-depth discussion of urgent actions needed for peaceful resolution of the multiplicity of crises.
Lyndon LaRouche had repeatedly warned that this imperial system, if not shut down, would lead to new wars, including the possibility of a nuclear war that could end human life on the planet.
The alliance of corporate cartels, identified by LaRouche, was known to U.S. and European intelligence specialists in the 1920s by the French name “synarchy.” Before there was “globalism” there was synarchy, in which leading corporations acted above governments to promote their private interests. Sometimes called “corporatism,” these networks rejected the idea of sovereign states acting through elected representatives, who served to represent the interests of the governed, the people. Instead, they usurped the power of such national legislative bodies, and insisted that governments must place their private interests first. The corporations asserting such power included banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions; but also, large corporations that allied as “trusts,” in steel and metal production, especially related to the defense sector and the rubber and chemical industries.
In the 1930s, corporatism became synonymous with fascism. Today, the defense sector includes tech firms connected to military defense, as well as telecommunications, computers, artificial intelligence (AI), and surveillance. In the United States, this new element in the military-industrial complex includes the billionaires from Silicon Valley.
Rubio and the New Fascism
It is this network of corporate billionaires that is setting the agenda for the global corporations, which includes the activists who recently attended the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. While Trump sidelined some of the worst offenders among the war hawks who were prominent during his first term—such as Mike Pompeo and John Bolton—many remained, and were reinforced by a new gang of privateers gunning for war. This new wave includes leaders of Silicon Valley, whose tech firms provide AI components used for kinetic warfare, e.g., for targeting, logistics, drone-weapons capabilities—and engage in various forms of hybrid warfare, such as spying, surveillance, censorship, and financial warfare.
Of note are those globalist “elites” at the forefront of pushing for the end of the nation-state, and engineering new privatized city-states run by like-minded billionaires. Among these, two require special mention: Palantir’s Peter Thiel and Elliott Management Co.’s Paul Singer. Executive Intelligence Review (EIR) has covered extensively Thiel’s efforts.[2]
Singer is mentioned here for his role in the targeting of Venezuela. He is known as a “vulture capitalist” for his purchase of “distressed” assets, financial paper issued by companies which are headed to default. Singer buys the assets at a sharp discount, then sues in court to collect face value. He recently did this with PDVSA, the Venezuelan state oil company, through his purchase of approximately $5 billion in Citgo, a subsidiary of PDVSA. For his purchase of Citgo, when PDVSA defaulted, the court awarded him a judgement of $18 billion. He has been a loud voice attacking Venezuela’s President Maduro, calling for his overthrow.
Singer was a leading backer of Marco Rubio for President in 2016, bundling nearly $4 million to a Rubio PAC. He is also a major funder of the Washington Free Beacon news service, which hired Fusion GPS to dig up anti-Trump stories in the 2016 campaign. Fusion GPS paid former British MI6 operative Christopher Steele to produce the infamous, false “Russiagate” dossier, which identified Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia as interfering in the U.S. election to elect Trump, and controlling Trump through sex tapes.
By 2024, Singer had become a major backer of Trump, giving $8 million in total. Singer remained very close to Rubio, sharing with him a desire to bring down Maduro to facilitate “regime change” in Cuba. Rubio has a close relationship with the CIA-backed Brigade 2506 of anti-Castro Cubans, attending their annual conferences and issuing congressional resolutions honoring them.
Perhaps this strange relationship of a pro-Zionist billionaire with Rubio has something to do with President Trump’s swing from “anti-war” to a backer of regime change? Can this shed light on his embrace of Rubio, whom he once denounced as a pro-Bush RINO [Republican in name only—ed.], before handing him a leading role in making Trump’s foreign policy in his second term? Might it also be related to the unwillingness to fully declassify the remaining documents on the John F. Kennedy assassination, given the suspected role played by the CIA anti-Castro Cubans? And the Epstein files, given Epstein’s ties to Israeli Mossad operations, CIA money laundering, arms trafficking, and his infiltration of networks pushing technocracy and artificial intelligence?

- It is a typical bit of British sophistry to present a choice between two viewpoints which are shaped by the same axioms, so that there is in reality no choice.
