Virginia Senator (ret.) Richard Black has denounced Section 224 of the NDAA as a threat to American Sovereignty. In his weekly Focus on the News video blog on June 13th, retired Virginia State Senator and former Marine Colonel Richard Black delivered a powerful presentation against the threat represented by Section 224 of the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act, which merges essential functions of the United States military with those of Israel. Senator Black pointed out that one might think that with a large section of the American public soured on the Iran war and with the dimming of Israel’s reputation because of its actions in Gaza and, more recently, Lebanon, such an un-American policy would be unlikely. In fact, its emergence can largely be attributed to the practices of blackmail and bribery being carried out at the highest levels. Senator Black elaborated that the 224 provisions weave the United States and Israel together in all military matters, which means that all of our military secrets will be known to Israel immediately. This disclosure is important, given that the United States has an enormous advantage in the world based on our cutting-edge technology, as in AI, space technology, and so forth. Section 224 opens this up “to this tiny little country” (pop 9 million). We would, he continued, be giving them access to every area of military technology, including AI, directed energy, biotech, and much more. The United States’ military data would be Israel’s military data. It is not that the United States would have control over Israel’s military development but that Israel would have control over ours. The section is currently making its way through a Congress whose members routinely take orders from Israeli controllers in their midst and frequently in their offices.
On top of that, Black continued, Congress is now considering Section 622 of the draft intelligence authorization. 622 would mandate intelligence sharing with Israel through the “United States–Israel Intelligence Sharing Enhancement. Section 622 specifies the expansion and enhancement of intelligence sharing with Israel. It then specifies a procedure for a president attempting to curb sharing, which, Black asserts, “no president could accomplish.” Black argues that it would take American sovereignty away and grant it to Israel, which is in the process of carrying out horrific war crimes. And it would make the American people subordinate to the Israeli government and to their Mossad intelligence agency.
