From this week’s Strategic Alert Service (nr. 35/2026):

Mark Carney, the man who invented “Green Finance” and confessed that the “rules-based order” was a cover to loot the world, sent an indirect message to the United States on Aug.22, warning that “the markets” could be unleashed against Washington. During a press conference called to explain Canada’s reaction to the new U.S. tariffs, he said, “We are entering a phase where fiscal strength, discipline, focus is going to be very important, and is gonna be scrutinized. I am telling this to Canadians, as someone who has been in and around financial markets for a long period of time…. Markets sometimes ignore these fundamentals, and all of a sudden they focus on it. And when they focus on them, if you do not have your house in order, it is too late.”

Although he did not refer to the United States outright, the message is clear: It is the “fundamentals” (GDP, inflation, employment, fiscal deficit, trade deficit, etc.) of the U.S. that are being blatantly ignored by the markets. And those markets could start a run on the dollar at any moment the City of London, which Mark Carney represents, decides it is geopolitically convenient to do.
