Last week Netherlands-based Thomas Karat of SaltCube Analytics conducted an interview with the German documentary filmmaker, Moritz Enders, over his most recent film, Nord Stream Sabotage. The interview, in English, debunks the NATO narrative and focuses on the “US/UK” historical geopolitical context behind the attack. When asked who was responsible for the bombing, Enders answered, “Directly or indirectly, the Americans.” Four years after the attack, no serious official explanation has been given.

The interview explains that the British have spent centuries trying to contain Germany and Russia and the attack on the pipeline is an extension of their long-standing goals dating from the 1853 Crimean War or the fight against the 1903 Berlin–Baghdad railway. NATO continues this geopolitical policy with the slogan, “Keep the Russians out, keep the Americans in, and keep Germany down.” This desperation has only grown since the 1971 creation of floating exchange rates on the U.S. dollar creating the dependence on petrodollars. Enders said that there have been decent German leaders such as Helmut Schmidt, who was a strong ally of the U.S., but always had the interest of Germany close to his heart, or Gerhard Schröder, who wanted working relations with Russia. Neither fit the NATO agenda.
